OSG at CIMT 2023

OSG (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (OSG China), OSG Corporation’s subsidiary in China, participated at the 18th China International Machine Tool Show (CIMT) from April 10 to 15, 2023 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Hall) in Beijing. Held every odd year, CIMT is the largest and most influential machine tool exhibition in China. It is also one of the four largest international trade fairs for machine tools in the world, with similar popularity as EMO of Europe, IMTS of the United States, and JIMTOF of Japan. According to official data, more than 150,000 visitors participated at CIMT 2023, an increase of nearly 27 percent versus the previous show.

The “Golden Innovation Award” is an award established by the Metal Processing Magazine of the Machinery Industry Information Research Institute to encourage companies to innovate products. The product range includes machine tools, machining centers, cutting tools, functional components, CNC systems, metal processing fluids, etc. For the cutting tool category, the selection of the “Golden Innovation Award” began in February 2023. After preliminary screening, publicity, and review, 63 products from 40 domestic and foreign cutting tool companies were chosen for the online selection, expert review and editorial department evaluation stages. Fifteen products with the highest comprehensive score were selected for the award.
