TOYOKAWA―May 30, 2024―OSG Corporation today renewed the design of one of its manhole cover commercial advertisements in Toyokawa, a city located in the eastern part of Aichi Prefecture. OSG Corporation is one of the first companies to place commercial advertisement on manhole covers in Toyokawa, which is the hometown of OSG Corporation and nearly half of its employees in Japan.

The renewed manhole cover advertisement design features the company’s official brand mascot Tap-kun and inarizushi, a pouch of fried tofu typically filled with sushi rice, which Toyokawa is famous for.

OSG Corporation currently has two manhole cover advertisements featuring its logo and mascot Tap-kun. They are situated adjacent to the Toyokawa Inari, which is the city’s most famous Buddhist temple. OSG takes great pride in Toyokawa and hopes to continue to contribute back to its hometown through meaningful initiatives.
