OSG Unveils ZERO Series and Showcases 40 New Products at JIMTOF 2026

OSG Corporation highlighted its latest cutting tool innovations and manufacturing solutions at JIMTOF 2026 (The 33rd Japan International Machine Tool Fair), one of the world’s largest and most influential machine tool exhibitions, held Oct. 26-31 at Tokyo Big Sight in Tokyo. The exhibition brought together 1,134 exhibitors from 22 countries and regions across 4,422 booths, reinforcing its position as a premier global platform for manufacturing technology and industrial innovation.

Throughout the six-day event, JIMTOF attracted more than 115,000 visitors, including over 9,400 international attendees, providing a valuable opportunity for manufacturers, engineers and industry professionals to explore the latest advancements in machining, automation and digital manufacturing technologies.

OSG’s standout two-story exhibition booth served as a hub for product innovation, customer engagement and technical collaboration. The second floor was dedicated to customer meetings and technical presentations, featuring three large-format displays for product presentations. On the first floor, visitors explored six key exhibition areas featuring threading, drilling and milling solutions; thread rolling technology accompanied by a humanoid robot demonstration; micro-precision machining technologies; digital tool management systems; and collaborative displays showcasing tooling and workpieces developed with partners across the manufacturing industry.

A major highlight of the exhibition was the introduction of 40 new products, including 29 products unveiled publicly for the first time. All products displayed represented upcoming releases scheduled for launch in the weeks and months following the show, giving visitors an exclusive preview of OSG’s newest developments.

Among the featured innovations was ZERO-GT, a high-performance micro-chamfer forming tap from the newly announced ZERO Series. Designed to enable thread formation closer to the bottom of blind holes than previously possible, ZERO-GT minimizes incomplete thread sections while maximizing usable thread depth. This innovation supports thinner and lighter-weight component designs while maintaining the durability, reliability and performance required in today’s manufacturing environments.

The launch of ZERO-GT also marked the debut of OSG’s new ZERO Series, a product family designed to challenge conventional manufacturing limitations and create new possibilities for customers. Engineered to redefine expectations, the ZERO Series combines innovative technology with purposeful design to overcome long-standing industry challenges and open the door to new manufacturing solutions. By addressing constraints that have traditionally limited manufacturing performance and design flexibility, the ZERO Series helps customers unlock new opportunities for productivity, innovation and design freedom.

In addition to showcasing its latest tooling technologies, machining solutions and digital manufacturing initiatives, OSG enhanced the visitor experience through a daily prize drawing held throughout the exhibition. Attendees who completed an on-site survey, participated in a seminar or successfully answered a booth quiz were eligible to enter for a chance to win exclusive OSG merchandise and a variety of prizes, including popular specialty products from Japan’s Higashi-Mikawa region.

Through its product launches, technical presentations and interactive exhibits, OSG demonstrated its continued commitment to advancing manufacturing technology and delivering solutions that help customers improve productivity, precision and competitiveness in an evolving global manufacturing landscape.
